This first book in the McClain Brothers is NUCLEAR HOT! I wish I could give 10 stars for this amazing story. I started reading this book at 3am due to my insomnia. I figured I would read until I fall off too sleep, BIG MISTAKE! Jo Lena & Big South 12 have insane chemistry and hotness that kept me reading until this afternoon. If you have ever dealt with an EX bugging out in your current relationship, then this is the book for you to read. I love Jo Lena in her rawness, dignity, support, dedication as mother, friend and take no prisoners attitude, however, sometimes you reach your breaking point. Honey, its all good when your break with Big South 12 aka Everett (Ev) whose an Alpha male with a big heart. I was literally getting ready to catch a case while reading this book. Had my emotions all over the map. I was smiling, crying, mad, and blushing from chapter to chapter. I am a firm believer when a Man finds something he cant resist, he will risk it all. Alexandria House, the passion between Jo and Ev was NUCLEAR hot that had me taking notes. YOU DID YOUR THANG with this book!!!! This is an awesome start in the series and I look forward to the next installment.One-Click this book and hide because you will not want to be disturbed :)

I had been seeing this book in my recommendations for a while. I had never read anything by this author so I just ignored the recommendations list. I had grown tired of reading some of the same cookie cutter stories and decided to give this one a try.....Boy and I ever mad at myself for not clicking on this book sooner. At first I wasn't sure how I would like it because I thought Big South and Jo's relationship moved way too fast. But as I got into the story, I saw where the author was going with it. Who says there has to be a time frame on love and that there is anything wrong with going after something you KNOW you want. That's what Everett "Big South" McClain did when he laid eyes on Jo. He pursued her and chased her until he got what he wanted. Their whirlwind romance/love was fast but it was real and it was strong and nothing and no one could break that. I am definitely picking up the rest of this author's books because the McClain brothers have me intrigued.

Jo and Everett are now on the list of my favorite couples. I cannot adequately express how much I love these two together.I’m usually leery of the “rapper falls in love” type of storyline. Mostly because it’s not always done right. I’ve actually read only one other author who nailed it. Alexandria House definitely did this right.Everett is mature and has been in the industry for a long time. He married early on in his career and was left heartbroken. He’s not looking for another serious relationship and is doing what most expect from a rapper; sleeping with just about every woman he can. When he meets Jo there’s an almost instant attraction and he makes it his mission to pursue her and make her his. There’s just one person who keeps throwing up obstacles - his crazy ex.Jo has also been through a failed marriage and also has a crazy ex. They have a beautiful daughter together. Jo feels she is destined to raise her daughter and spend the rest of her life alone because of the hurt and betrayal she suffered from the crazy ex. She is also instantly attracted to Everett but is afraid to pursue a relationship with a rapper, and for good reason.I love that the two got together quickly but let their relationship progress slowly. I love that Everett was strong enough to help them both get through the rough patches and that Jo showed her strength when Everett needed it the most.Yes there was lots of money, cars and clothes but nothing terribly cliché.This was a solid love story with developed characters and an intriguing plot. I can’t wait to read about the rest of the McClain brothers.

Alexandria House, you did your thing when you introduced us to Everett “Big South” McClain and Jo Lena Walker's story. And what a story it is! Not only did Jo fall in love with Everett, but I did too. The storyline is solid, and the characters are Unforgettable. From sweet Nat to Krazy Esther. I highly recommend Let Me Love You. Just think, it's the 1st book of the McClain Brothers' Series. Can't wait to read about the other brothers. But right now, Let Me Love You is all that!

This is my first time reading this author and let me tell you this book had me riveted that I could not put it down. This book had me all up in the wee hours of the morning that I finally had to go to bed and pick it back up. Big South....loved him. I had to get use to Jo because of what she went thru, but after getting to know her she had her man's back. Them exes were cray cray 😜 and would NOT let bygones be bygones. They all get what they deserved especially Esther. Lord have mercy I wanted an epilogue with this book. Hope I can see more of this couple because they got a lot more of story to tell. Jo's friend Bridgett was a hoot. Great read. I will be checking out the rest of this author books. Yep.
