Seriously? It was either my instructor or this book, or both. The exams that the college has with this book doesn't make sense. The book, alone is so boring and reads so slow that you have to grit your teeth to get through it. There aren't enough tables, illustrations, key word use or definitions within the chapter. There are too many pages of only paragraphs upon paragraphs, no bold key words. I actually can't get through 3 or 4 pages without putting it down from boredom. The tests going along with the book are all over the place. You're assigned a group of chapters, and the test is on not only these chapters, but suddenly on a few following chapters. The information is difficult to retain. I think college RHIT needs a different textbook. I complained about this one to my instructor. The book has a lot of see this chapter. I think test questions come from that. If your class uses this book, be sure to go over and the next unassigned chapter. The book, though is in great shape for a rental.
