This book is for those working in a business environment. If you have Office 365 Home Premium, this is 'not' the book for you.Currently there does not seem to be a book covering :-The setting up of a Skydrive account, so that you can make the best use of it. Such as saving to the computer as well as to the Cloud and keeping them in sync.The basics of the various programs, there are those familiar with a couple of the programs, but not all of them.Making use of the extra minutes of Skype that are available with this subscription.Describe the setting up of good security and whether you should control your backups, instead of leaving it up to Microsoft.This book assumes you already know the programs you are going to use and concentrates on setting up the necessary environment to enable you to co-operate with your colleagues. It seems to be succinctly written, but I cannot verify some of the information. For instance I do not have and have never used Lync so I cannot comment on it.I generally enjoy the 'Dummies' series of books, for the way they impart knowledge. This book is written in a more serious veinand I found it harder to read, however I am sure it will meet the needs of its target audience.

i'm giving it one star only because I can't give it less than that. This is the WORST "dummies" book that I have ever tried to use. Everything that I want to look up as I am starting to use Office 365 (which is frustrating enough as is) I can not find in this book. There is nothing about "One Drive" or "d.docs.live.net" as for Publisher there is only one statement and that is useless because I am try to open documents and save them in other drives and it is not working.... don't waste your money on this one. Keep a tablet handy and google what you are trying to figure out

This is probably a good book for those working in an office setting. However, I am a home user and it really was not helpful. I think it should be stressed in the labeling that it is not for home users. I suspect however that if you read the reviews on those who work in a business that uses it, it will be seen to be helpful to those in that environment.

I purchased this book in February of 2016. I'm using the enterprise version of Office 365. I should have looked up the publication date first. It is somewhat out of date. Screens have changed as have some of the language and terms. For example, the book references Lync. Lync was replaced by Skype.

The issue for me is Microsoft 365 has changed its terminology. Thiis manual uses SharePoint. When the Online version of 365 uses "OneDrive." It's confusing for me to sort out what's what!

Wenmt with windows 365 Home for 5 installs. Explains what I got into and keeps me out of trouble. Delivered quickly and packaged sufficiently.
